The Armor of God

Ephesians 10 - 20

(Read this first)

Thought I'd share this with you guys,

This verse has kind of come up lately, and as I was in the woods this weekend Joey's friend Josh pointed out that there is no armor for our backs. Kind of cool!

That means that we were not meant to run away, that we were made instead to fight and stand firm! For me this was super encouraging. If we turn our backs and run the flaming arrows of the evil one might catch us but if we face it head on like David did when he faced Goliath, trusting in God, we can overcome our fears.

Hope that was encouraging in some way!
